On 14 November 2026 at 18:00, the Oglīte folk dance group for adults will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a vibrant and emotional concert entitled From Heart to Heart Through the Joy of Dance at Ziemeļblāzma Palace of Culture.

On 14 November 2026 at 16:00, AVE SOL Concert Hall will host Go, Tell the Whole World, a concert dedicated to Latvia’s National Independence.

On 6 November 2026 at 19:00, the mixed choir Medera will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a concert entitled Like Pearls on a String in the Chamber Hall of VEF Culture Palace.

On 31 October 2026 at 17:00, AVE SOL Concert Hall invites audiences to enjoy a musical adventure: a new and unconventional programme for a kokle ensemble, featuring golden classics of Latvian popular music alongside contemporary compositions.

On 21 October at 19:00, the vocal jazz group Assembly Singers invites audiences to discover the wonderful world of the blues at Ave Sol Concert Hall. Known for their spirit of creative exploration and diverse vocal sound, the group will turn its attention this time to the distinctive musical aesthetics of New Orleans and Louisiana.

From 16 October to 6 December 2026, the Riga Art Nouveau Centre Museum will host the exhibition Sentimental Values. Brants and Vorkale. It brings together porcelain and fine art by two artists, Inese Brants and Irīna Vorkale, whose works are inspired by the Art Nouveau heritage and family values.

On 16 October 2026 at 20:00, the youth choir “Kamēr…” will perform its concert “In Two Worlds” at the Ave Sol Concert Hall.

From 9 October to 6 December 2026, the Riga Porcelain Museum presents the exhibition “Taisija Poluikeviča. The Delicate Strength.”

From 15 September to 28 November 2026, the Aleksandrs Čaks Museum presents a thematic exhibition entitled “The Poet’s Kitchen and Creative Bohemia,” featuring materials from the museum’s collection.

In August 2026, a new thematic section of the permanent exhibition, “Riga Porcelain. The 1950s,” opened to visitors at the Riga Porcelain Museum.

During the summer season, the Riga Art Nouveau Centre invites you to visit the exhibition “Pansies”. It is dedicated to one of the most charming and symbolic flowers in Europe and presents a diverse representation of the pansy flower in art and everyday objects. Depiction of pansies can be found in interior items, dishes, postcards and even clothing. The exhibition features objects from more than twenty Latvian museums, as well as private collections. It will be on display in the museum from June 13 to September 13.

From June 12 to August 2, 2026, visitors to the Riga Porcelain Museum, located at Kalēju Street 9/11, will have the opportunity to explore folk motifs in the collection exhibition “Written in Patterns.”

The exhibition “Summer Moods or Čaks in the Countryside” by artist Biruta Stafecka will be on view at the Aleksandrs Čaks Museum from May 28, 2026, to September 13, 2026.

Throughout June, the Riga Porcelain Museum will hold a colourful creative workshop focused on painting porcelain objects using various techniques inspired by the Midsummer theme.

The exhibition has been created by Dr. Uldis Neiburgs, a researcher at the Institute of Latvian History of the University of Latvia, in collaboration with the project “The Archaeology of Independence: New Approaches to the History of National Resistance in Latvia” of the State Research Programme “Letonika for the Development of a Latvian and European Society” (No. VPP-LETONIKA-2021/2-0003)
