On 26 October, in Tolosa, Basque Country, Spain, the youth choir “Kamēr…” from the Riga Municipality’s Concert Organization “Ave Sol” claimed 4th victory in the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing, under the artistic direction and baton of Jurģis Cābulis.

On 23–24 October 2025, Riga became the European centre of Art Nouveau research, hosting the international scientific conference “The Diversity of Art Nouveau in a Regional Context.” The event brought together 27 renowned Art Nouveau scholars and experts from 17 countries, highlighting Riga’s importance as a metropolis of Art Nouveau within the European cultural landscape.

On Saturday, 1 November at 12:00, the Riga Art Nouveau Centre invites visitors to a creative workshop led by Turkish artist Gülhisa Diptaş, introducing the fundamentals of the tezhip (illumination) technique.

From 20 September to 26 October 2025, the Riga Art Nouveau Centre presents the exhibition “Eastern Elegance: The Kingdom of Peach Blossoms” from the Tianjin Museum collection. The exhibition reveals a fascinating dialogue between Chinese artistic traditions and the organic, decorative aesthetics of Art Nouveau.

At the Riga Porcelain Museum, from June 13 to August 10, 2025, the exhibition “Decal” will be on view. Exhibition is dedicated to one of the most popular porcelain decorating technologies and its application in Latvian art and design today.

The Riga Art Nouveau Center Museum invites you to the exhibition “Bouquet of Flowers,” which will be held at the Ģederts Eliass Jelgava History and Art Museum in Jelgava from May 21 to September 7, 2025. The exhibition introduces the floral motifs found in applied arts of the Art Nouveau period and is dedicated to the anniversary of the outstanding early 20th-century Latvian poet Aspazija.

The Riga Porcelain Museum presents an express exhibition, “Beatrise Kārkliņa Sends Holiday Greetings!”, from June 20 to August 3, 2025, showcasing the latest works of the renowned Riga Porcelain Factory artist and designer Beatrise Kārkliņa (b. 1933).

From June 6 to September 20, the exhibition “Rosemania. The Charm of Roses” will be on view at the Latgale Cultural History Museum. The exhibition is created in collaboration with curator and collector Gilles Bonvial (France) and the Rēzekne Culture and Tourism Centre. It offers a multifaceted insight into the world of roses — their botanical history, symbolic meaning, and manifestations in various art forms. Visitors will be able to explore unique objects and artworks that reveal the rose’s place in painting, sculpture, decorative arts, fashion, perfumery, and more.

On June 10 at 8:00 PM, at the exhibition hall “Riga Contemporary Art Space”, a solo concert by Artis Orubs will take place as part of Sigs’ exhibition ““Nomadic Cinema” This concert is an improvisation and dedication by Artis to his friend Sig (Siegfried Debrebant, Latvianized as Zigfrīds).

From May 7 to September 15, 2025, a thematic exhibition from the museum’s collection dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Aleksandrs Čaks Museum will be on display at the Aleksandrs Čaks Museum, located at Lāčplēša Street 48-8.

On 8 May at 18.00 in the Intro Hall of the Riga Contemporary Art Space, will open the next event of the Riga Photography Biennial—NEXT 2025 – the solo exhibition ‘Chronosphere’ by Ukrainian artist Lesia Vasylchenko (UA/NO). The exhibition will be on view from 9 May to 6 July. Curators: Inga Brūvere (LV) and Marie Sjøvold (NO).

From April 15 to 20, the Riga Art Nouveau Center invites you to celebrate Easter. Visitors will be delighted by the festively decorated interior, created by artist Tamara Chudnovska, as well as by centennial objects from the museum's collection that reflect the essence of spring. Egg-painting workshops, which will take place on Saturday, April 19, and the concert "Come, Come, the Great Day!" on April 20, will make the holiday celebration at the museum both active and creative! At the museum entrance, visitors will have the opportunity to take a photo in front of a large-format Art Nouveau-era postcard featuring an Easter rooster, a bright egg, and feathers. The postcard display will be available from April 15 to 27.

The Riga Porcelain Museum is pleased to offer the residents of Riga the unique opportunity to get acquainted with the works of Skuja Braden in the latest tandem solo exhibition “Up, Down and All Around”, which will be on display from April 11 to June 8, 2025 on the first floor of the museum’s display windows, underground hall and in the middle of the museum transforming the fragmentary exhibition spaces into a unified, artistic message.

On April 21, 2025, on Easter Monday, at 6:00 p.m., fragments of George Frideric Handel's oratorio "Messiah" will be performed at Riga St. John's Church. The concert will feature the Riga Chamber Choir "Ave Sol", the Vidzeme Chamber Orchestra and solo artists, conducted by Andris Veismanis, the conductor and artistic director of the choir.

From April 12 to June 8, Siegfried's exhibition “Nomadic Cinema” will be on view in the Great Hall of the Exhibition Hall "Riga Comtemporary Art Space"
