National resistance movement member Uldis Mucenieks after his arrest, 1964. Arrested in 1962, accused of multiple attempts to escape from the USSR and expression of anti-Soviet views among acquaintances, sentenced to 10 years in prison. In 1964, additionally accused and sentenced to 5 years in prison for raising the Latvian flag on the trigonometric tower in Mežaparks. He was imprisoned until 1971.
