The headquarters group of the Latvian Fatherland Guards (Partisan) Association in Krievu marsh, Līvāni parish. 1947. The core of the group – seven national partisans – was killed by militants of Soviet security agencies on April 24, 1948.

National partisans from the Captain Pēteris Čevers group in Vandzene parish. Winter of 1949/1950. From the left: first in the first row – Artūrs Kalniņš (“Artūrs”), second in the second row – Captain Pēteris Čevers (“Pēteris”), seventh in the third row – Lieutenant Augusts Dundurs (“Augusts”), eighth – First Lieutenant Jānis Gura (“Janka”). Six partisans of the group fell in battle against the KGB troops on February 3, 1950, five were killed in special operations by Soviet security agencies, four were executed on July 24, 1951, in Riga.
