The exhibition has been created by Dr. Uldis Neiburgs, a researcher at the Institute of Latvian History of the University of Latvia, in collaboration with the project “The Archaeology of Independence: New Approaches to the History of National Resistance in Latvia” of the State Research Programme “Letonika for the Development of a Latvian and European Society” (No. VPP-LETONIKA-2021/2-0003)

The photos and documents used for the exhibition belong to the Latvian National Archives – Latvian State Archives, Latvian War Museum, Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, Latvian National History Museum, Museum of the National Resistance Movement, and other memory institutions and private collections.
