Celebrating the 105th birthday of the Republic of Latvia, the museum "Riga Art Nouveau Center" invites you to Patriotism Week at the museum from November 7 to 19.
In honor of the national holiday, the museum will be decorated with special flower compositions and the museum's interior will display objects from the collection related to the time of the proclamation of the Latvian state.
Schoolchildren and all those interested will be offered the opportunity to attend a lecture-presentation on the formation of the Latvian state and creative greating card workshops. Museum project manager Mag.hist. Dzintars Gilba in his lecture, will talk about the preconditions for the proclamation of Latvia, the creation of the state, as well as the most important symbols of the state. After the lecture, in the master class, everyone will have the opportunity with the help of ink stamps to create a special holiday greeting card, as well as receive a handout with the text of the national anthem of the Republic of Latvia.
Lectures and creative workshops will be held on November 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17 at 14.00 and 15.00.
