On May 18, 2024 from 6.pm. until 12 p.m., Aleksandrs Čaks Museum will partcipate in the Museum Night event.
On the Museum Night, Aleksandars Čaks Museum will give its visitors an opportunity to see the thematic exhibition from the museum's collection, dedicated to the wife of famous Latvian poet A. Čaks "Kas Tu bija, Anna Bērziņa?" (“Who were you, Anna Berzina?”). It is a very simple but also a very complex question. Anna Elizabete Ērika Bērziņa was the wife of the Latvian poet Aleksandar Čaks - a social, hardworking, frugal, good conversation partner and an attractive woman.
Young Museum Night visitors will have the opportunity to draw and paint a portrait of the poet, as well as receive a removable tattoo of Čaks. Museum visitos will be able to welcome midnight in the museum together with singers Arnis Miltiņš and Rolandas Lappuķis and their music program "Parallel Time".
