The artist admitted that when the car stopped at the art gallery where her paintings were displayed at that time, she looked around in surprise, enjoying the first moments of her childhood dream of Paris - the bridge over the Seine and the Notre-Dame Cathedral. “All the buildings seemed to preserve many centuries of history. I was able to paint in the attic of the gallery a few minutes from the cathedral. At that moment, I realized how similar Paris is to our Riga!"
At the exhibition visitors will have a chance to see the paintings that have urban vibe that are characteristic of both Paris and Riga, which poet Čaks so elaborately wrote about.
