Taming the complicated substance porcelain requires meditative strength and complete mastery of the material. Eleonora Pastare has worked with clay, chamotte and other ceramics materials, and more recently she has turned to porcelain. In her latest works, the artist manifests femininity and power to create fragile, airy and enchanting porcelain works.
“Colourful day and night, colourful seasons. Dreams and reality. Everything we are facing at every particular moment, especially those little things that we probably notice in a different way than others, or sometimes do not notice at all, is sufficiently important for a flight of creative thought and idea.
The variability and the constancy of nature is a never-ending source of inspiration, it is the foundation for creative work or for flights of dreams.” Eleonora Pastare
