On November 11, Lāčpleša Day, on the waterfront near Riga Castle, residents of Riga and guests of the city take part in a beautiful, patriotic and unifying event of the Latvian people - placing lighted candles at the castle wall, thus honoring the heroes who participated in the fight against Bermont's army for the freedom of Latvia.
On November 11, 2022, after lighting candles on the waterfront of Daugava, residents of Riga and guests of the city are invited to visit the nearby concert hall "Ave Sol", where in honor of November 11, at 19.00, the event "Daugavmalā viss ir klusi" dedicated to Lāčplēša Day will take place.
