On December 2, 2022 at 19.00 the concert "Fiery Rhythms" in the Great Hall of the Riga Culture and Recreation Center "Imanta".
The concert program will include flamenco dance performances with fans, large Spanish scarves "manton de manila", hats and castanets.
Dancers from the flamenco dance studio "Zambra", professional representative of Spanish classical dance and choreographer from Madrid, Ana Cáceres Garcia, specializing in castanets, as well as soloist Madara Singer will perform at the concert.
Flamenco dance studio "Zambra" is one of the leading representatives of this dance genre in Latvia and its students delight the audience with gorgeous, authentic performances and a real taste of Spain.
The head of the studio, Daiga Pirogova, is an experienced flamenco dancer and choreographer, she has studied in master classes in Spain and elsewhere in Europe. She started her journey on the big stage at the age of 15, dancing in the "Liepāja Theater" as part of the Grand Prix-awarded rock opera "Kaupēn, mans mīļais" and in other performances. She has also participated in the performances of such artists as "Gipsymania", "El Alma", Linda Leen, Kaspars Antess and "Los Nens".
Madara Dziedātāja – mezzo-soprano, is a graduate of the Jāzepa Vītola Latvian Academy of Music, who regularly performs in various concert programs. She has participated in festivals in Latvia and abroad, is a laureate of international competitions, is actively involved in various music projects, has given concerts in Austria, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Ireland.
