For the third year already, during the holidays, the musically diverse series of concerts COLOURS OF THE SEASONS of the Advent season will be playing in Ave Sol Concert Hall.
This year, Concert Organization AVE SOL will offer the audience a series of eight concerts "Colors of the Seasons. Sounds of winter".
The cyclical passage of time has imperceptibly brought us closer to the most miraculous and brightest holiday of the year. In the darkest, and yet so beautiful, hopeful time, we wait for snow with sparkling joy, light candles and wait for Christmas. Somewhere, as if from afar, the lines echo in our mind - "white snow falls on the herringbones and the clock chimes softly singing...", but everyday life is filled with the noise of waiting and preparing for the holiday.
“Ne šūpulī greznā”, “Ziemas pasta balodis”, “Ziemassvētku introits”, “Mazu brīdi pirms”, “Es skaistu rozīt zinu”, “Šai svētā naktī”, “Ziemassvētku roze” are just some of the countless beautiful winter and Christmas songs and melodies, which will be a heart-warming gift to the listeners in eight magnificent concerts under the common name SOUND OF WINTER. That will be performed by different generations of singers and musicians.
Each concert will be as unique and different as snowflakes. The vocal collage of choirs, ensembles and soloists will be complemented by the colorful nuances of the clear ethereal sound of the kokle, the powerful church organ staves, and the diverse sound of other instruments. And every evening will allow you to stop for a moment to feel and enjoy joy - for the smell of gingerbreads, for sparkling winter days, for being together, for warm light in hearts and minds.
