On May 19, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., the 30-year anniversary concert of the senior women's choir AMADEUS in the AVE SOL Concert Hall.
30 years ago, the conductor Inga Dziļuma, gathered together passionate, energetic people who wanted to sing and created the choir "Amadeus". On the evening of May 19, in the "Ave Sol" Concert Hall, the collective intends to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its activity with a loud concert. The singers have chosen a romantic name for the concert "Gadi vijas gredzenā" (“The years are winding in the ring”). The symbolic meaning of the ring best describes both the feeling of collective togetherness and the cyclical nature of time, including and personifying the years and the many events lived and sung together, which intertwine into a single whole and lead to ever new goals. During these years, the collective has performed in many places in Latvia and has successfully participated in competitions and festivals of many European countries - in Greece, the Czech Republic, Germany, Catalonia, Austria, France, Italy and elsewhere.
The anniversary program will feature original compositions and arrangements of folk songs by Latvian authors, pearls of choral music by world classics and great spirits, forming a dynamic and gorgeous serpentine of compositions. The anniversaries will be joined on stage by the senior ensemble "Krētas freskas", the senior choir of the Mārupe Culture House "Noktirne" and the Jaunolaine senior ensemble "Sarma".
Free entrance.
