The Riga Culture Center "Iļguciems" invites you to spend Easter in the traditions of the Latvian people together with experts of traditional culture Iveta and Vidvuds Medeņi, playing games, guessing riddles and learning Easter traditions.

On the first Easter, April 9 at 15.00, lets meet in the courtyard of Riga Culture Center "Iļguciems"! Together with traditional culture connoisseurs Iveta and Vidvuds Medeņi, we will explore and play Easter games, solve riddles, roll eggs and swing on the swing. Let's get to know the beliefs and customs of the Latvian people and find out how Easter was celebrated in ancient times. Let's perform various Easter rituals so that we ourselves are agile and productive and the coming spring is full of joy.

             The event is especially suitable for families with children. We invite Easter celebrants to dress up, bring poplars and painted eggs.
