The museum "Riga Art Nouveau Center" offers you to get acquainted with the diversity of nature in Art Nouveau architecture! Accompanied by a guide, you will have an opportunity to take a walk along Alberta, Strelnieku and Elizabetes streets, to see flora, fauna and other motifs on the exterior of the buildings. Tours will take place at 16.00 every other Wednesday – 13.07., 27.07., 10.08. and 24.08., their duration is one hour. At the end of the tour – chance to see the exhibition "Neaizmirstules".

The quiet center of Riga attracts attention with its excellent Art Nouveau architecture. The construction of Alberta Street was started in 1901, following the new principles of urban planning and creation of humane living space for people living in the city. Architects and artists drew inspiration from nature. The complex volumenous compositions of the buildings were enriched with reliefs depicting elements seen in nature. During the tour, those interested will be introduced not only to the diversity of the depicted elements, but also to their symbolic meaning. On the route, tour participants will be able to see famous Alberta Street buildings decorated with expressive decorative figures,  built by architect Mihail Eisenstein,  as well as see the elegant buildings of the great architects Konstantins Pekshen, Hermans Hilbig, Friedrich Scheffel and Heinrich Schell.
