Andrejs Severetnikovs was born on June 7, 1962 in Riga. Graduated from the Painting Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts (diploma thesis - "Mother", supervisor: V. Ozols). Participates in exhibitions since 1993. The painter has dedicated his life to art and works as a freelance artist. The author himself, describing his painting, says - classical realism.

Actively participates in exhibitions both in Latvia and abroad, often holds personal exhibitions, demonstrating targeted, commendable success in artistic development. Andrejs Severetnikovs has equally successfully focused on all basic genres of classical painting - landscape, still life, figurative compositions.

The richness of the artist's personality and the language of painting allow viewers to find answers to essential, existential questions, even though the landscapes use motifs that have been seen many times but have not been noticed.
