ROUND MIDNIGHT will be in Latvia from November 5 to 9 and will give free concerts in Riga and Rēzekne and will take a part on USA embassy’s event on occasion of presidential elections in USA

ROUND MIDNIGHT is an award-winning “a cappella” quartet of music educators from New York City. They sing primarily in the barbershop style and demonstrate how close harmony can be applied to different musical genres such as R&B, pop, jazz, and rock. Round Midnight was voted “Favorite Barbershop Quartet” by the membership of CASA – The Contemporary A Cappella Society. Barbershop is a jazz style that formed in USA in the beginning of 20th century. It is a four voice vocal that performs popular songs. The name barbershop indicates its origin – such a singing first appeared in barber’s shops. At present there are more than 30 000 members of the Association of BARBERSHOP HARMONY representing this style.
