From September 1 to 30, 2023, an exhibition of Marat Dziubenko's paintings "Reflections of Latvian nature in Marat's paintings" can be seen at the Riga Culture and Recriation Center "Imanta".
Born in a family of artists. Father and mother graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts. Mother Olga Jefimova is a glass artist and painter, and father, artist Oļegs Dziubenko, docent of the Drawing Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts.
When Marat was very young, he spent a large part of his time in his mother's workshop. In order to occupy the son one time mother gave the boy an old piece of canvas, paints, brushes, allowing the boy to get creative. Marat could express himself creatively without restrictions and a by the end of it - a work of art was created on the old canvas.
For Marat Dziubenko, painting is a talent given by nature - he did not attend an art school. The first work of art was created when the boy was only four years old. Marat's paintings have traveled to various places in Latvia, USA, England, Germany, Russia and Ireland.
Similar to painting, he also self-taught himself how to play the piano by playing in the stairwell, on an abandoned by a neighbor, out-of-tune piano. When he grows up, Marat wants to become a pianist and also an architect to build a house for his parents by the sea.
