Painting studio “RaDuGa” exhibition “Pasaule apkārt mums” can be viewed from 2nd July to 31st of July, 2022, in the gallery on the 1st floor of the Riga Culture and Leisure Center "Imanta".
Iraida Cvetkova, head of the amateur art group "RaDuGa" (Radošā Duča Galerija) and its members say the following about themselves: "We bring together very different people - among us we had hairdressers, cooks, policemen, bank employees, engineers and medical workers. And yet there are only a dozen of us. We used to devote all our time to work and taking care of our children. Until now, we left our dreams and wishes for a later time, but finally this time has come. We are pensioners whose children have grown up and we can start realizing our dreams. Desire to create has united us and we have been doing it with pleasure for seven years now. Now is the time to show what we have achieved. Maybe someone who visits the exhibition will also remember their unfulfilled dreams, put aside their fears and start creating!"
Studio classes take place in the community center " Ābeļzieds ", Riga, Dzirciema Street 24.
The exhibition mainly features paintings of landscapes created in oil and acrylic techniques.
The exhibition is free for visitors.
You can find out more about the exhibition on the homepage and Facebook account of the Riga Culture and Recreation Center "Imanta".
