Throughout summer, on Thursdays at 18.00, Culture and Recreation Center "Imanta" offers a chance to visit outdoor music concerts. On July 7th from 18.00 performance by accordionist Inita Āboliņa.

Musical evenings will take place in the open air, creating a relaxed and summery atmosphere, allowing them to relax from the daily rush, to notice that even there, among the multi-storey buildings, it is possible to feel and enjoy summer.

Inita Āboliņa has  participated in many different musical projects. Her main work is related to the Latvian National Opera and Ballet. Inita's mastery as an accordionist can’t be ecpressed in words, it must be heard at least once. The musician's repertoire includes well-known melodies by well-known Latvian composers, this time sung and told in the voice of an accordion.

Inita Āboliņa started learning accordion at the age of 10, in the schools music club. Initially, there was a desire to play the guitar, but the teacher offered the accordion. At first, she didn't like it, but as she wanted to learn music, there was no other option. Inita turned out to be gifted and soon after, by the teachers recommendation, she passed  the music school entrance exams. “Basically, I didn't choose the accordion, the accordion chose me. And it's good that it did.", says Inita Āboliņa.

All open-air concerts are free of charge.
