Culture space "STROPS" program "Summer in the pine garden" from June 29 to September 1, 2022 at Bolderājas branch library of Riga Central Library, at Gaigalas Street 3.

On August 24, at 12.00, Bolderāja's STROPS will host a multimedia lesson and animation master class together with Dace Liepa and Silva Utāne.

Children together with their parents or independently will have the opportunity to participate with their works in the real animation creation process together with experienced animators Dace Liepa and Silva Utāne. Animation will be created using an application that participants will be invited to download on their mobile phones. Female artists will share their experience gained by participating in the creation of Latvian animated films. Daces Liepas list of works include such animated films as "Ness and Nessia", "Cat's Mill", "Devils", "Extraordinary Riga residents", "Saule brauca debesīs" and many others. On the other hand, Silva Utāne, having seen the colorful everyday life of an animator from an early age, has followed in her mother's footsteps and is creatively involved in various art classes for children and, of course, in Latvian animated films, such as "Jēkabs, Mimi and talking dogs".

During the event, various animation films created in master classes over the years by Dace Liepa and her students will be shown, so that the visitors of the event can get a wider impression of the animation creation process.

Entry to the event is free.

The project is implemented by the Culture and Recreation Center "Imanta" of the Association of Cultural Institutions of Riga Municipality.
