On August 17, at 5:00 p.m., Bolderāja's "STROPS" with Katrīna Dimanta and her group. The concert will feature a selection of the best and most sonorous songs - both self-composed and arranged by K. Dimanta.

As Katrina herself says: "Songs and singing together is like participating in the small Song Festival. A celebration of song.”

Katrina Dimanta has played music in various projects and musical associations, which are at their core  based on the basics of Latvian traditional music. Musician plays several instruments: cello, accordion, violin, ukulele, pipe, piano. She has performed in England, Australia, USA, Brazil and Canada. Released and participated in the recordings of several albums. Participated as part of the folklore group "Kokle".

In 2010 and 2018, she was a soloist at the Song and Dance Festival ("X Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival"/in 2018 "XXVI General Latvian Song and XVI Dance Festival"). Actively participates in public life and is also one of the charity foundation "Nác Plišās!"  musicians.

The project is implemented by the Culture and Recreation Center "Imanta" of the Association of Cultural Institutions of Riga Municipality.

Culture space "STROPS" program "Summer in the pine garden" from June 29 to September 1, 2022 at the Bolderāja branch library of the Riga Central Library, Gaigalas Street 3.
