Rolands Bruno Butāns (1944) has formed his style by working in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel techniques. He depicts a wide range of subject matters – landscapes of Latvia, city outlines, street views of Old Riga as well as other parts of the capital city, still life, portraits and flowers.
The artist have had solo-exhibitions in Latvia and USA, and he participated in several group exhibitions in Germany, Russia and Far East countries. His works are owned by art collectors in Latvia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Israel and USA.
