This year during Latvian Republic Anniversary of Restoration of Independence on May 4 Latvian residents and visitors of Riga created a work of art - Good Thoughts Wishes for Latvia.

More than 13 000 people tied up varicoloured yarn threads into joint tapestry together with good thoughts and wishes of success for our country.

The originator of the idea – the Association of Culture Institutions of Riga City Council, supporter in the creation of the work of art – a textile artist Antra Auziņa.
