In March, a porcelain making workshop where participants can learn how to inbed different textures in porcelain at the Riga Porcelain Museum.
The Riga Porcelain Museum offers a creative porcelain workshop for interested people of all ages to get to know the process of creating porcelain products and various porcelain processing techniques. This time in the workshop you will be able to learn how to use different surface textures in creating a small dish.
Throughout March, in the porcelain making workshop, paticipants will be able to create an original dish using pre-prepared materials that will help create unique texture compositions. Each participant will receive ceramic mass and various materials, such as stamps and fabrics, with the help of which they will be able to create various textures in the mass.
The creative workshop is available to children from the age of 6 as well as adults, no prior knowledge is required. Finished works can be received in a few weeks at the Riga Porcelain Museum.
The workshop will be led by museum teachers Rasa Jansone and Astra Kaprāne.
The workshop in March is available from Tuesday to Saturday. Workshop participation fee 9.00 EUR.
