In the 4th floor vestibule at the Riga City Hall until January 16, 2013
The beauty of Riga’s architecture served as the inspiration source for the pupils’ creative work and it completes with the exhibition ‘The Nature Motifs in Art Nouveau Buildings’. In the children drawing competition 136 works were submitted. The Latvia’s 94th anniversary exhibition will be on display at Riga City Hall until January 16.
“The children fantasy’s flight and the fine research they have done have created wonderful art that is dedicated to the Art Nouveau in Riga. Children drawings surprise with the compositional grandeur and delight with a fresh creative thinking” acknowledges the jury member Anita Paegle – contests winning artist and illustrator of children books. The submitted works were estimated by architecture and art professionals and teachers: Diāna Dimze–Dimma, Juris Ģērmanis, Indra Saulesleja and Agrita Tipāne.
