Founded in 1992, the ensemble "Harmonija Rīgai" is one of the rare groups in Latvia that surprises listeners with a barbershop music style singing. It is not for nothing that they are called the pioneers of barbershop music in Latvia. Barbershop music style originated in the 20th century initially in the US. It is a four-part vocal performance that performs entertaining and joyous songs. The name of the style indicates its origin - this type of singing originally took place in men's hair salons.

 Four gentlemen - Ārijs Šķepasts, Arnis Miltiņš, Aldans Milzarājs and Salvis Sprūžs - delight not only the listeners of Riga and Latvia with their professionalism but their voices have also resounded beyond the borders of our country.

 The ensemble's repertoire includes both typical barbershop songs (originally composed for such singing), as well as Latvian popular songs arranged by the members themselves, such as "Meldermeitiņa", "Dzīvīte, dzīvīte", as well as world hits, including the popular composition of the group "Queen"-"Bohemian Rhapsody".

The concert will be conducted by Arnis Miltiņš. The guest performers of the concert are Laimis Rācenājs and Kaspars Ādamsons.

The event is organized by the Riga Culture and Leisure Center "Imanta" of the Association of Culture Institutions of Riga Municipality.
