Alberta Street, Riga Once again visitors and inhabitants of Riga will be taken a hundred years back, where everyone will be able to enjoy well known and completely new activities.
In the midst of city’s inhabitants from the beginning of the 20th century it will be possible to meet the outstanding Art Nouveau architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns and his spouse, the well known Latvian playwright Rūdolfs Blaumanis as well as the gorodovoy (city policeman), janitor, flower girl and paperboy.
The whole street is going to be transformed in the unique scenery and all visitors will be able to participate in theatre play. There will be creative workshops, contests, a smart auction, a lottery, some improvisation theatre shows, singing games and an imaginative travel into the history of theatre, which will please grownups the same well as children.
